Very cool new tablet design by Lenovo! If I were Apple, I think products like this would make me at least a little bit nervous. I'm not yet convinced the performance of the projector is outstanding but I'd like to try it out before making any final judgement.
Interesting interaction design model by Microsoft. It's not exactly new but it does look more sophisticated and comprehensive than previous iterations I've seen.
This interesting iPhone accessory by Relonch aims to bridge the gap between iPhones (and the photography-base social media apps that go with them) and high-resolution DSLR cameras (which take awesome photos that are sometimes difficult to share with friends and family). The user's iPhone docks into the 41-megapixel Relonch camera which takes print quality 'fancy photos' and stores them directly on your iPhone for easy sharing. Check out the video below for more info.
Really interesting wearable technology concept by Nixie who has developed the Quadcopter Drone to be the first drone camera to fit on your wrist. The concept is interesting and the technology is cool (assuming it works; all they have showcased here are renderings and animation) but I'm having a hard time envisioning scenarios that would highly demand this type of application. Their video does a good job of illustrating a few potential scenarios that make sense but they don't seam like common scenarios that would resonate with most users. Maybe I'm just being skeptical. I suppose time will tell.
It's easy to see why digital cameras are quickly becoming a dead category (excluding DSLR, I suppose) but the Panasonic Lumix CM1 smart camera is still pretty cool. Ultra thin and powerful enough to provide photographers with plenty of control it also uses an Android operating system to quickly load and share pictures.
Interesting kitchen knife set by Furtif. The blade uses many processes such as titanium carbide laser bonding to strengthen its stainless steel material to the point that it only needs to be sharpened once every 25 years!
